Is the platform free to use?
Yes. There is no platform subcriptions, no fees, no strings attached. Developers may offer free, one-time purchase or subscription plans for their applications.

How does it work?
You can start by downloading the desktop application. We have designed it to be as intuitive and
simple to use as possible.

Will there be AI usecases?
The Yapp Store is BYOP (Bring Your Own Provider) - meaning you have a choice of using OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic's Claude or any provider you wish. Depending on the application type, particularly those offered through subscription plans, may require proprietary models.
When will v1 be released?
We are currently in alpha release. This is to showcase an MVP of the platform and to collect valuable feedback from developers and users. In beta release we will unveil additional features, such as the AI powered store agent. The official v1 release will come sometime in 2024. Stay tuned!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Monetization of applications will come in later releases - but we will accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We are also looking to expand to Apple Pay and Google pay in the coming months.
